who makes a longer lasting rechargeable AAA battery? duracell or energizer? which will last longer if have?
use my batteries a lot? both duracell and energizer make AAA rechargeable batteries but whose batteries will in the long run last longer or are they both the same? or is an unknown brand which will last even longer than either one of these two that comes in AAA and is also rechargeable longer lasting? rsvp asap! thank you.
I have a number of sets of AAA rechargeable NiMH cells that range in capacity from 550-900 maH.
The type of NiMH cells to look for is the newer type often sold as “precharged”. Rated capacities will be slightly lower than the standard type but the extremely low self discharge rate and longer service life make them superior. Duracell offers both standard (green top) and precharged (copper top) types.
My Duracell precharged AAA cells are rated at 800 maH. Sanyo Eneloop and Kodak Precharged (white top) batteries are also good brands.
I don’t know if Eveready is offering precharged cells yet.
I avoid fast chargers that tend to cook the life out of batteries as well as overnight chargers that aren’t smart enough to shut off when a full charge is reached.
