absolute monarchs
How did the views of Enlightenment thinkers contrast with those of absolute monarchs in Europe?

I’m writing this for my History class but don’t know how to answer it in paragraph form.. HELP?

Well, from what I remember last year, enlightenment thinkers were about complete opposites than Monarchs. Monarchs believed in religion and strict rules and guidelines, while, during the enlightenment, people went free and did as they pleased. Art went from gothic form, to more color, and people began believing in other religions.
Hope that helps.
