I just ordered my new gateway c-140xl, but it’s much cheaper to get the ram on newegg than GW. I know the kind of ram I mentioned says desktop memory, but will this also work in my laptop. Gateway says the lap top comes with: 2048MB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM, so isn’t that compatible with the kind I mentioned above?
desktop memory are different from laptop memory. now, i’m not sure if gateway really say sdram (desktop) or so-dimm (laptop). both so-dimm and sdram has ddr2 667.
