Can you transfer files from one computer to another through the ethernet cord? If not, besides copying to a disk, how can you do it?
You can connect two computers together with a Cross Over ethernet cable. A Cross Over cable is a special cable used when you only have two computers and you do not have a router or a switch.
Once you have the Cross Over cable attached you need to set up the LAN with File and Print Sharing then you will be able to see the other computer under Network in Windows Explorer.
Then you can drag and drop files.
