Question Regarding Intex Easy Set Pool..?
Hi everyone,
Last year my husband & I purchased an Intex Easy Set Pool. I was very pregnant & did not participate in putting up the pool or taking it down. Somewhere along the line my husband lost the maintenance directions. I guess initially the pool came with a chemicals kit that was used through out the summer but everything in the kit is long gone now & because I had no part in it, I have no idea exactly what “chemicals” were used or how much we’re supposed to use. Help!
The pool holds 3284 gallons of water.

Below are the ideal levels that your pool water should be at.
Chlorine=2.0
To raise, Shock the pool
To lower, Turn chlorinator down
pH=7.4
To raise, Add soda ash
To lower, Add muriatic acid (diluted)
Total Alkalinity= 80-100 ppm
To raise, Add baking soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)
To lower, Add muriatic acid
Calcium hardness=250-500 ppm
To raise, Add calcium chloride
To lower, Drain pool and refill
Stabilizer=20-50 ppm
To raise, Add Cyanuric Acid
To lower, Drain pool and refill
You can buy a kit to test your water at any pool store. They are pretty inexpensive. You test the water and then adjust the chemicals as necessary to reach these levels.
